What is FSC®?
As this earth of ours shows more and more signs of change due to the climate, we feel that as a responsible company we should do all we can to minimise our impact on the environment.

To prove our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, we have taken the following action.

Since May 2008 we have been FSC® registered. FSC® - the Forest Stewardship Council is an independent, not for profit organisation established to promote the responsible management of the world's forests. Products carrying the FSC® label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations and the Chain of Custody, which we are obliged to maintain, means that this can be proven for each batch of paper - from forest to finished product. This means in practical terms print products we produce that are printed on an FSC® approved stock may carry the FSC® logo.

FSC® in numbers!

More than 100 million hectares of forest worldwide were certified to FSC® standards in April 2008, distributed over 79 countries.

FSC® certified forests represent the equivalent of 7% of the worlds productive forests.

FSC® is the fastest growing forest certification system in the world (UN FAO, 2007)

10472 CoC certificates (so far!)

FSC® Certificates are in 81 countries worldwide.

In addition, since January 2009 we have been registered to ISO 14001. This registration requires us to monitor all aspects of our operation and, on a continuing basis, we must ensure that any impact caused by our activities is minimised and that we are maintaining our environmental impact at the lowest level possible.
